COMET LƎD performs excellently even in demanding applications such as quality assurance. Its rugged design, the dustproof enclosure for the optical components of the sensor head, and the high-quality connectors allow use in industrial environments. The sensor is controlled via an industrial standard CAN bus interface. Thanks to its ultra-compact size and light weight, you can position the sensor using standard accessories (e.g. camera stands). Transport, setup and commissioning of the overall system take very little effort. Designed for easy handling and use, COMET LƎD offers you maximum flexibility and efficiency in all your measurement tasks.

June 2017: Q-PLUS Labs adds the GapGun Pro to its expansive measurement arsenal. A versatile, hand-held, in-process quality inspection solution, the GapGun Pro rapidly captures measurement data for gap and flush, radius, edge break, burr, countersink, scratch, weld, seal, angle and more. Along with its ability to measure across a wide range of applications, the GapGun Pro also accommodates measurements from carbon fiber to high gloss black paint and chromes. It can also distinguish between different colored parts due to its VChange sensors’ Hi-Range measurement capability which dynamically adjusts the system’s output to allow measurement on multiple surface conditions. Its intuitive user interface enables the operator to always have a read on the results of the GapGun’s full color screen, even in difficult to reach measurement scenarios, allowing the operator to cut down on the amount of time it takes to collect data and increasing overall measurement throughput.
