Some of the functions performed include analysis, optimization of engineering drawings/requirements to maximize the validity and usefulness of measurements, specifying equipment or maximizing the effectiveness of existing equipment, statistical evaluations, proceduralization, application-specific training, implementation, and periodic monitoring.
