Solid Modeling Gallery

Below are some examples of our Solid Modeling capabilities. 3D CAD models can contain either prismatic or freeform geometry (NURBS surfaces) and can be dimension-driven (parametric) or characterized by high-density point data which is obtained using a 3D scanner. These virtual models can be constructed from readings obtained by direct measurement or from a scan mesh. Solid models are particularly important for product definition and process control as engineering drawings are typically derived from a corresponding model. Solid models are used for both computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and computer-aided inspection (CAI).
