Our customers are leaders in the high technology, medical, defense, automotive, and aerospace sectors. We are currently seeking a candidate who excels in a demanding, high-tech, and fast-paced environment where accuracy and quality are the highest priority as a Technical Document Quality Assurance Proof Reader.

Position Summary:

The candidate will work in conjunction with the Lab Manager, Associate Lab Manager, and Quality Engineer. The candidate will primarily be tasked with reviewing customer reports for accuracy based on GD&T and dimensional metrology standards.

Job Functions:

• In depth report review of various report formats which includes the ability to methodically review professional reports of measurement and ensuring values are consistent with part drawings or parameters provided by customer
• Conduct review of final deliverables that were sent to customer
• CMM/Data Analysis to ensure results are accurate and executed per customer request and drawing / customer standards
• Assist Lab Manager and Associate Lab Manager with various tasks (i.e. customer communication, managing email and misc duties as assigned)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with document quality of a technical nature
• Previous dimensional and engineering service experience
• Professional verbal and written customer service skills
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Advanced working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards preferred
• The ability to work with little supervision
• Resourceful and creative problem solver

Compensation commensurate with qualifications, ability and relevant experience.
