Although we have discussed this in previous news articles and various posts, some readers might not know that, even though certifications are granted for extended multi-year periods of time, laboratories must of course constantly maintain these high standards and be “reaffirmed” by the certifying body each year; in this case, Orion Registrar, Inc. Additionally, accredited labs must undergo rigorous onsite assessments by accredited bodies every two years with in-depth document reviews included every year.
