Q-PLUS Labs adds the GapGun Pro to its expansive measurement arsenal. A versatile, hand-held, in-process quality inspection solution, the GapGun Pro rapidly captures measurement data for gap and flush, radius, edge break, burr, countersink, scratch, weld, seal, angle and more. Along with its ability to measure across a wide range of applications, the GapGun Pro also accommodates measurements from carbon fiber to high gloss black paint and chromes. It can also distinguish between different colored parts due to its VChange sensors’ Hi-Range measurement capability which dynamically adjusts the system’s output to allow measurement on multiple surface conditions. Its intuitive user interface enables the operator to always have a read on the results of the GapGun’s full color screen, even in difficult to reach measurement scenarios, allowing the operator to cut down on the amount of time it takes to collect data and increasing overall measurement throughput.
